We don’t just call ourselves musicians.
April of 2013, Cadence Please launched its first two week benefit tour featuring worship concerts in Northern California and Oregon. Cadence Please sought to do one thing: serve. We didn’t care where God sent us. We simply wanted to help others in the process. If that meant worship, great. If that meant yard work, great. If it meant scrubbing toilets, still great. We had and have one desire – to be the light of Christ in whatever fashion He may choose to use us in. The result? It was the craziest two weeks of our lives. We saw God show up in the most unbelievable ways. We were so overwhelmed by the power of worship and the faithfulness of God to watch out for us for those two weeks, that come August of 2013, we all quit our jobs, committing full time to where God wanted us on the road. Over 250 events later – and well over a hundred service projects later – we still choose to have no label and we have no booking agent. We have God, and He has taken us places a label and booking agent can’t. Since that day we quit our jobs, Cadence Please has been full time in playing concerts while also serving those in need.
